Mobile chip repair on a Holden Premier V8

SMART Paintworx don’t just carry out mobile paint chip repairs on modern or new cars we carry out mobile chip repair’s on old skool cars too. One of our repeat customer has sold his Holden HSV that we had previously carried out some paint repair’s on and bought himself a very nice Holden V8 Premier. His new Holden Premier has been fully restored about 11 years ago, the paintwork on his premier has been wet rubbed to perfection and is in top condition, However over the years  just like any paintwork it has picked up some paint chips on the left hand rear window frame, two paint chips under the bonnet and a paint chip on the bulk head under the windscreen.

The biggest challenge for SMART Paintworx on a paint chip repair like this one is the fact that we have to match the perfect flat finish. This has been achieved by repairing the chipped area as we normally do with high quality products and our experience. We than bake the area off with a heat lamp and once cured we then wet rubbed it and polished it as perfect as the rest of the paintwork. Think SMART people.
